Whether holding court at one of his destination Seattle residencies, sharing the bill with premier national and international artists, releasing critically acclaimed mixtapes or touring with his distinctive selection of funk, hip-hop, boogie and R&B, dj100proof is distinguished within the Pacific Northwest and increasingly across the country as "in the pocket": consistent, excellent, and live.
dj100proof, with DJ Swerveone, hold down the weekly Jet Set, a hip-hop destination for both established and emerging artists and DJs to showcase in an intimate house-party setting. Jet Set has hosted a variety of special guests from the NW and beyond including: DJ Supreme La Rock, Maceo of De La Soul, Mr. Lif & Psalm One. More recently, he can be found at the Jet Set at Portland's Beauty Bar every third Friday of the month. He also holds an alternating Saturday night residency at The Woods, Seattle's newest loft party space on Capitol Hill, as well as residencies at Moe Bar & Oskar's Kitchen.
He is particularly renowned for his Backyard BBQ mixtape series, which features a seamless blend of soul, boogie and rap music from the classics to the contemporary perfect for the sophisticate's summertime soiree. The latest, Volume 5, released in Summer 2012, was featured on Mick Boogie's mixstream.com and selected as a 'Pick of the Week' on Mixcrate.com.
dj100proof has shared the stage and tables with a number of the best contemporary touring artists over the past several years, including Charles Bradley, Little Dragon, Passion Pit, 2 Chainz, Dam-Funk, Mick Boogie, Mayer Hawthorne, Aloe Blacc, DJ Maceo of De La Soul, Onra, Digable Planets, and J*DaVeY. In the Spring he had the privilege to dj in Paris, France at Toro Bar. In the Fall of 2011, he toured the west coast spinning at DaM-Funk's Funkmosphere (LA), DJ Platurn's 45 Sessions (OAK) & Sweaterfunk (SF), with more national dates in the works.
A consummate artist in photography, graphic design, and music production, he is also co-owner of Members Only, a hip-hop record label that also produces some of Seattle's most innovative and memorably raucous parties.

So proud of and happy for my man @oddisee. One of the nicest, most prolific and most talented dudes you will ever come across. We've known each other for the better part of 8 years now, which makes me feel old af. From Diamond District to Good Compny. From Chop Suey to Barboza to The Crocodile to Neumos to illegal underground basement parties, Seattle has always showed out to support. Lots of good memories, good music, many cups of coffee, bowls of pho and BBQ shared over those years. Always good to catch up. Cheers to the homie and wishing you continued success in all your many endeavors... including your most ambitious project to date: fatherhood. ✌🏼
