When I grow up I want to be that voice in your car stereo, the whisper in your earbuds that things will be alright.

"He has an acoustic rock vibe with a splash of blues and country. His back-up band plays steel guitar (which one comic said was a magic trick performed on a piano) and a steel bass. He also plays harmonica on original songs like Escalator Romance' and a bit of brilliance on a song about moving to DC from NY work the lyrics 'Hometown, I hate you back.'" - DC Metro Theatre Arts

"If you haven’t heard him before, think folk and acoustic rock rolled up and double-dipped in Americana (with sprinkles on top)." - The Lifetrack

"Harris Face, the opening opening act tonight, actually made me giggle. He bantered. He explained his goofy lyrics." - Brightest Young Things

"features the classic musical folk style of storytelling" - JPs music blog

"That was a great, powerful song."
Kirk Ridge, WCOM Licks and Lyrics

“...has only been performing for five months, which is quite shocking, considering how talented he is.” - Narragansett Patch

Harris Face is a folk-rock-blues artist based in Seattle, WA. Percussive guitar, harmonica, and emotive rock dominate his music, drawing comparisons with an acoustic Springsteen, the Counting Crows, and modern roots crusaders like William Elliott Whitmore. Sprinkling light banter between his folk ramblings and blues confessionals, Harris Face has a voice that is at times nostalgic and hopeful, at times serious and ironic, but always full of the dreams and withdrawals of a DC political junkie.

Emerging from a bustling Washington, DC singer-songwriter scene, Harris has played at the Kennedy Center, Iota Club and Cafe, The Hamilton, and Rock & Roll Hotel. He has toured the East Coast and Midwest with Adrian Krygowski, and shared the stage with Brothers Lazaroff, The Vespers, and Emma's Revolution.
