Korey Bridges Music is the solo project of Korey Bridges of past bands Lathem, The Highlife Sessions, Through Trenches, and most recently and currently Forever & Counting... In late 2011 Korey Bridges Music released its first full length record entitled "Curveball" produced by Vincent Raven and released by small now defunct label DOP Music Group. Korey also appeared on the program Atlanta Live following the release. At the time KBM was Korey's solo work turned into a 3 piece band consisting of now fellow Forever & Counting band mate Ray Myers on drums, and long time friend Jason Clements. After the some thought and things not going as planned with the label and Jason having to leave the band to dedicate more time with his family Ray and Korey decided to form Forever & Counting... and pursue a different style of music. And at the same time Korey decided to continue to pursue KBM as well and instead of trying to find members to to fill the void of Jason and Ray, Korey decided to re-evaluate the project and has decided to take KBM back to its more organic roots. Instead of trying to make folk rock power anthems Korey is dusting off the acoustic guitar and will write songs once again based primarily from that instrument and his voice. In this way things will translate easier and more pure at a live show. But on albums there will be other things going on such as everyday household items as hammers, sandpaper, saws, you name it to be used as instruments to compliment the core sound of vocals and acoustic guitar. As well as getting friends and peers to collaborate to help make the future of Korey Bridges Music truly creative and exciting.
