Devin Townsend quote of the day to Mike St. Jean during Lobby Call... 'Have fun with that shirt!' 😂 Good ole' MSJ. Funny and good people in the #DTP
Thank you Barcelona. You guys were truly amazing. We were running off of barely any sleep due to travel from Finland overnight, but you gave us the inspiration and energy to have an amazing set. Thank you for your support. Grateful.
Had some special guests at Tuska Festival in Finland come and see us perform yesterday.... the awesome Johannes Eckerstrom, front man of Avatar and his fiancé Paky. Always a pleasure seeing Johanne. Good conversation with a great dude from a great band! The DTP are playing all of Ocean Machine in Barcelona in a few hours with very little sleep. Let's do this!
Back at 'Be Prog my Friend' in Barcelona! Stoked for this very special show today, as we're playing all of Dev's classic album 'Ocean Machine' in its entirety. Look forward to playing for you all here in beautiful Barcelona! Who's coming ???
3am in Helsinki, no sleep & off to the airport to fly to Barcelona for our show there tomorrow. All smiles & no complaints. Livin' the dream.... wouldn't change a thing!
Thank you Tuska Open Air Metal Festival , as always, the Finnish people are so amazing for us. Thank you for your years of support! That was fun 😊
SONOR DRUMS knock it out of the park again. Here's my kit for Tuska Festival today in Finland. They shipped my exact kit but in black for this one show.... they even shipped my favorite Snare of all time, the Sonor Artist Bronze. That's support! Love this company for making the best sounding drums in the world and for their amazing support. Thanks to Thomas, Scott and everyone at Sonor for making my job so much easier with their support. Grateful to say the least!!! Ready to slam at Tuska!!!
DTP fans rule!
Good people are everywhere, especially if YOU are good to others 😉
Today I hooked up with a very kind person named Kari Rinta-Rahko . He helped Bo (4 Minute Masters) and I set up my Free RVP Health, Body and Mind Seminar which was supposed to take place in Helsinki last night. Unfortunately due to unforeseen traveling delays we had to cancel the seminar for 20+ people. Regardless, Kari played a big role in making the seminar happen. He got a venue and was going to supply coffee and refreshments for the seminar. He is also a fan of the DTP. This morning, I took some time in Helsinki, to visit Kari, before heading down to the Tuska Festival which I'm playing tonight with the DTP. I wanted to thank him in person for all the effort he put in to helping make the Helsinki Seminar happen. We had a great visit and drank some great coffee!! Check out Warrior Coffee... it's absolutely amazing! Loved it!!!
Kari, from the kindness of his heart helped put together a great venue and was even going to supply some great coffee and refreshments all for a good cause. I do these seminars for free because I want to help people live a happy life full of purpose. In return, I get to meet amazing people like Bo and Kari among many others that attend my seminars. If you put yourself in positive situations and surround yourself with good hearted people, you'll find yourself meeting more and more good people. Never be scared to help others. There is always room for it on this planet. To be honest, I think there could be a lot more of it and less war, racism and hatred. Make the most of every day, be kind to others and live your life to the max. I'm very grateful for the people I get to meet through my motivational speaking career. It was nice to meet Kari in person and trust me, I will be back in Helsinki to do a seminar here soon!
Thanks for your hard work and effort Kari!
